How about a charitable frag swap for the holidays?

I'm thinking canned food to get in, donated frags auctioned off to buy toys for kids and maybe we can get some stuff donated for a raffle as well.

Awesome start everyone, buyers are just as important as sellers. I'm not sure about a location but I'll definitely talk to FB to see if they want to help out. I'm not sure about timing with everything they have going on though.

I will look at the calendar and talk to Mike. It would have to be early to mid December. It would also give us a good excuse to get the old store and our storage space (where we held the last swaps) cleaned out!

I'm interested in buying, if I know the date ahead, I'll ask for the day off work. The frag swap should be made on a Saturday/Sunday.

If we can't get enough people to donate, maybe we can do a frag swap and have a percentage go to buying toys and such? Maybe it could be something like 50% of sales goes to the cause? We might get more people participating...

We may have to do that, remember though there's a lot more people at these auctions than are on RC. This forums taken a huge hit lately with people getting out.
