How about them controllers

I think what I'm after in a controller is to have:
1. Continous monitoring of Temp and PH
2. Control 3 phases of lights
3. Heater and Fan control
4. Kalkwasser timer
5. PC download of data
6. PH reactor control (If I need one)
7. Wave maker

I have found 2 that I think will fit the bill:
Reefkeeper 2
AquaController Jr

Does anyone have any experience with either of these?
Which would you recommend?
Are there any others that I am overlooking?

Have I hit my question limit for the day?
Thanks,
Tracy

If you are not in a big hurry the RKE is coming out soon (digital aquatics) and it looks to be worth the $490 starting price.

Sanford, you’ve got a child now, everything has to go to the collage fund (unless you buy my tank).

I’ve been looking at both of those myself and they match up pretty equally. I’ve looked at the new RKE as well but you’ve got to decide what you want and what you need. One thing you might do is look at the vendor forums for both companies (Neptune and Digital Aquatics) and see what folks are saying about them, what problems they are having and the quality of responses they get.

I bought the RKII and have been very happy with it. Easy to set up. The only thing it did not have that I wanted was an auto top off, and the RKE will have that capability.

I have used both, and like the ReefKeeper II for how simple it is to program.

I like the Aquacontroller for it's versatility, but the RK Elite is going to be the one to watch. It has more features than most other controllers on the market.

i like my ac jr. it's not hard to program at all and it's been runni ng with no problems for over a year.

I have an Aquacontroller III Pro and I love it. Easy to program and does way more than I need. If the Aquacontroller Jr works the same without extra bells and whistles it should be a good choice.

I have never used and can not comment on the RKII.

So what your favorite Controller man??

Wow didnt know this one existed - thanks for the link.
I like that it will monitor ORP and has a web server on it. But I dont think it will work for me.

You need to swap out controling devices with the Light control. Like it is either or, but won't do both. I want to cantrol fans, a kalkwaser and wave control as well.
