i kinda like a marine betta but i have clowns and a firefish which i am worried about, the firefish is quick and the clowns are also pretty quick but would the betta go after them?

Bettas are not really aggressive. They may eat a smaller fish though. I would worry about a firefish. What types of clowns do you have?

I like the marine betta. They really are under-rated.

I responded to your thread in the other forum here too...the beta will probably eat the firefish eventually. They can be extremely shy at first but often come around in time. I've seen them kept fine with tomatoes and maroons and other fish like damsels...just think a firefish may get it sooner or later.

they are peaceful but also a grouper relative and ambush predator that will eat anything it can fit in it's mouth. A friend of mine had one that ate a pair of picasso clowns.
