My bet is on the GFO. I've encounter similar results when I've pulled phosphates out of the system rapidly.

I reduced the amount of gfo and slowed the flow down through it. Thats exactly what happened. I greatly reduced the nutrients, both phosphate and nitrate levels were at rock bottom. Its been 3 days and all my zoas are turning around! Patience is the key. I appreciate all the input from you guys, thanks for the help!

Did you light acclimate the z's and p's during addition to the tank or did you just immediately place them at the highest point of your tank under LEDs???
