How are the roads in Des Moines

Just curious how the weather is down around the Des Moines area?

Up here we have about an 1-2" of snow and it's freezing raining. Just curious if it's the same down there?

I just drove into waterloo from new hartford. Took awhile, no plows and pretty icy & snowy. I'm not going to risk it, maybe try to get off in a few weeks for the next one.
