how are these prices for snails?

Just ran across this, don't know if it was discussed already or not.

I'm wondering, do you really want 1 snail per gallon of water, or what is the formula? In my 38g I have one big turbo, 2 mexicans (I think, they're black with silvery on the point of the shell)... I recently saw 9 nass's and I have 5 ceriths. Should I add more, and if so, what?

I have checked these folks out and the minimum order after discounts has to be $500. I don't know if there are that many Cerith snails needed in all of NEW. Good prices though.

Jess it really depends on your tank for how many you need.
If you have that many and are still seeing algae problems then you need more. If not I'd say it's enough.
If your having detritis problems then prolly you need more nassarius.
I don't remember what ceriths do lol I don't think I have any of those left.
