How awful are blue damsels?

I have 5 YT damsels in my 120, they are doing fine, some fighting but since there are many of them, it's not focused in a single fish. It actually helpful since I have Flame angel that is a bully, it will pick on each of the damsels and my yellow tang, but again helpful that the aggression is dispersed to multiple fish

Back in the 90s a popular book for beginner marine aquariums recommended using damsel to cycle a tank, so I did (3 electric blue). Eventually 2 of the 3 mated and killed the other one. When they started laying eggs, I moved them out into a separate tank because they were so territorial. I think I had fry hatch 2 or 3 times before one of the pair ripped the tail off its mate. The tailless one eventually had to be euthanized.

The last one remained by itself in a 10g for a long time, even surviving having a non-submersible heater fall in the tank and short circuit - it was truly an electric blue from that!

I have two yellowtails I can not catch for the life of me and would pay to have gone. They bother any new fish entered really bad but after a few days if the fish services they are good. Still they drive me nuts and I would love them gone. Biggest mistake of my tank to date.

I have a pair of clowns, two purple fire, one very small tang, and one mimic puffer in a 54 corner. The tang will go away in a year or two.
