How bad is this going to be?

Will it just kill it where it touches or will the cap get totally nuked? Do you think the cap will grow around it or is this going to be a war zone?

If you are worried about the cap move the hydno, they are aggressive, and the cap will a hit.

hydnophora are one of the most aggressive corals i have ever seen..
I bet it'll burn the monti way back..
then the monti will just regrow right over the hydno..
But it'll get ugly in the mean time..
