How big are the fish guards for the stream pumps?

I have a couple of modded Maxi-Jets that I'm replacing with a
pair of controllable NanoStreams (as soon as they get here)

I was thinking about putting fish guards on the old pumps since
I have a sail fin blenny and a Six-Line who go in the pumps when
the feed pause is on (they have been very lucky so far).

The old pumps will most likely just be spares but it would
Be nice to be able to make them safer if I need to use them.

So the question is what is the inside diameter of the fish guards?

They are designed to fit over a 40mm outlet, roughly 1.5"
