Hello everybody!
I have one Bubble tip anemone in my thank, when i carry it in the tank two week ago i put it on the sand bed at the bottom of the tank. at the front of anemone is tank wall and live rock is behind it.
at this place light is low because tank depth is about 75cm and water flow is low and feeding is so difficult. so i want to move it in better place on live rock in the depth of 30cm.
but anemone is sticking so hard an the tank wall and dont release the wall with something like credit card.
and i let it time to change its place but it can not move around very well because as i told it only can move left or right.

Ideally you should leave it to find its own location In the tank, it will find what it likes froM the Flow and lighting in the tank

You can try to move an anemone where you want it, but unless you have a lot of experience and a good insight into the needs of the anemone species you may not be successful.
Anemones will usually move to a place they like. The trick is to create that place somewhere where you like it too and place them there. If you are unsuccessful with this attempt you will end up with an anemone on the move.

If its really a must. You can put on a pair of rubber gloves, and gently massage the foot with your fingers. It will eventually release. But that is stressful. A less invasive way would be to use a powerhead pointed around, not directly at it. This will cause the nem to move. But as others have said they go where they like. You may get it moved only to wake up tomorrow and its right back where you moved it from. Have seen it many times.

Im currently in a similar situation, just put an odd looking lemon drop bta or so im told in my tank last week. It's a transparent lime/yellow with a pink foot no origin idea. It seems to have tented up under the cave like housing I built for my blood shrimp which I don't think is to happy about his new roomate. Couldn't see it at all and its stayed there for a few days, its foot was very visible and vulnerable in between a couple rocks so I gave the foot a little "tickle" few times this morning and it started to move from there I'm anxious to get home and see where it is now. I do not want to stress it out so if it returns to the darkness, which I thought was weird, but they like what they like and I might just have to restructure to a more open "cave like" set up seeing how my tank just got running again few months ago. I only have a few inverts a pink birds nest 40lbs of live sand and some marshall island rock in so far so not a huge deal but I would feel bad for the shrimp since he had claim to a home.

Following along for new ideas as well. I'm regretting putting the RBTA in my tank at this point. It's split twice already and the two new splits are causing great grief!!!

Happened to me before, ended up selling them both cause they wouldn't stop crawling around after the split. Said I'd never get a bta but here I am after seeing the lemon@ one of my lfs with a 30% off sale. Should have had a v8
