How can I cool down my mixed water

Just my small experience
With the iced bottles I think I got some Xenia corals complaining and got sick

The up and down temperature caused by the bottle, as I put it directly in the DT as I don't have sump was probably the cause

When I set up the fan and got constant temperature the xenias got back to normal

But that's my experience in a tinny tank :)

Don't over complicate it. Freeze water in a plastic container like a pop bottle or gallon jug. Float it and make sure you have flow. Once your water gets within 2-4 degrees of your DT, you're good to go.

I have a few water bottles in the freezer all the time. Normally, I just use them on Poker Night to keep my beer cold, but they work great for cooling tanks too. I just toss them back in the freezer when done. I've had the same ones for years now. Turns ou, they don't go bad!

Like you, my mixing takes place in the garage. So my water starts at about 102 this time of year. I just mix it up and bring it inside for 24 hours.
