How Can I do the Following?

Hi folks,

Still playing around with my P3ex. With my old RKL, I was able to create a sequence that allowed me to shut off my return, skimmer and ATO pumps for a defined period of time to feed my tank. After which, the return pump came back on, and after a delay of 2 mins, the skimmer and ATO switched back on.

I've been playing around with the software, and can't figure out how to do this. Any ideas?

I must admit, the RKL was far more intuitive. For 9 years I flew one of the most sophisticated aircraft the Air Force owns, and learning the systems behind that was easier than learning this thing! :fun5:

Cheers,

LOL! It does have a steep learning curve but I honestly think that when all is said and done you'll be VERY pleased with this controller.

Yes RKL and the Neptune Controllers are easier to program set-up but when you get into some of the more complex programming they fall on their face.

L3 do u still fly?

It's really easy to do...

In profilux control look under Programing logic... Set G1 to:
Function Delay on
Input Filter
Time to 120sec

now go over to the socket of the skimmer, return pumps etc and set them to Programmable Logic 1

Programmable logic my friend, this is where the GHL's real power starts to come through as this allows you to do things other controller have sweet dreams about.

Talk to Boboxx or Gareth on how to program this ;)

LOL, thanks guys. I will play around with this and see how it goes. One other question, if I succeed in programing correctly, how do I initiate "feed" mode?

BigAL - Sounds like a plan. Asheville is a pretty nice town. Are you in aviation?

Guys,

I'm still having some issues getting this to work properly. I'd like to have the return pump shut off, along with the skimmer and ATO. The skimmer and ATO need to start back up on a delay. I've tried playing around with the programmable logic, but can't seem to get this sorted. Any advice??

Thanks!

When you assign a pump to a socket, one of the options is a black out delay. This is how I do it.

Ken

The Blackout Delay does not appear to apply to the feed timer, at least not on my Plus II with 5.0 fw.

I would also like to have my skimmer start up 2 minutes after the return pump, after feed pause.

Not sure how I missed this one. I "thought" I was subscribed to this thread but I "thought" wrong!!

I live about 25 miles or so from Asheville and about about 35 from Asheville Regional.

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on what day you're talking about it LOL) I'm not IN Aviation. I just happen to LOVE Aviation but I'm a computer nerd and working in the Building Supply business in Waynesville, NC.

Come on down sometime.
