How can I get my RBTA off the glass?

I have several RBTA's that keep splitting and moving around. Does anyone have any advice on how to get them off the side of the tank or off the glass without damaging them? I've tried grabbing them off the glass, but that doesn't work.

thanks!

On glass is one of the best place to remove them. I would get an ice cube and a credit card like object. Rub the ice around the base if you can. Keep it moving. Get the card to slide between the nem and glass without force. Once you get it in a bit the nem will start losing grip and start to let go. Hope it works and good luck.

That might work give it a try. But i always used like a cheap supermarket card. Thin but flexible and pretty tough too.

Credit card is the best method for on the glass IMHO. Just keep the card tight to the glass like you are trying to scrape off some coraline algae.

A nice gentle massage has helped me in the past. Slowly around the foot toward the base. It moves the fluid some and it starts to loose it's grip.

A credit card would be better as a spatula might get some flesh caught under the leading edge.

Agreed. But all you really need is a fingernail. Just use your fingernail tip flat against the glass to gently push up/pry the BTA away from the glass. Once you have a little bit of it started, it comes off fairly easily.
