this is how it started

they loose the ability to close , tentacles going down instead of up , after they start to have a kind of infection or funges and they finish like in the next pictures

about 10 polyps in the colony are affected with whatever it is the pest, the rest is doing fine , should i cut the sick one and or they may recover ?
i am doing iodine dip every 2 or 3 days

hard to tell exactly what is happening but you could try to do a peroxide dip. i was loosing a whole colony of palys and did did the peroxide dip and it saved the still healthy ones.

I found the ones in your condition may heal with VC. How'd you get it so fast? What are you using?

i am using the 1000mg effervescent tablets from upsa for human use .
this is the purest thing i can get here , contain some sugar and orange aroma , hope that will not do bad things for my tank !
2 tables per day

how do u use a vit c? i had the same prob with my armor of god look like it got infected and most of my amor of god melted theres only a couple left and i would like to save them

1st of ally you are not adding a buffered product, which means it has at least an acid pH of 4 & you don't want to make your pH swing like that. 2nd of all, that other crap is going to add to phosphate & I don't even know what that fizzing stuff will do but I don't think you want to find out. We have been researching the dosing of VC for over a year now & it might do you some good to go to the very beginning of the 100 pg thead & start reading.
