How can I make my liverock grazable?

I had a coral beauty grazing on liverock all the time on a previous tank and now have a tank with a pygme angel that rarely grazes. Is my liverock too bare now? Can't remember what my previous tank's rock was like. Is it just the fish?

Is there something I can do to make my liverock grazable?

Certain live rock comes with all the goodies on it for Angels and Tangs to graze on. I purchase couple hundred pounds of LR from a reefer and it sat in his tank for several years with 2 clowns. When I put a Flame, coral beauty angal and kole tang in my 120 gal tank with those LR they graze all day non stop. I am leaving my 65 gal to recover from the angels picking the rocks almost clean.

Could I glue turf algae or gracilaris onto the rock?

I think time is the only answer to your Q . I have a Kole and cherub in a tank that I have had for a year and the rock came from a tank that had been running for 6 yrs . Fish have been in there for 2mo's , they are staying nice and fat .
