How could I do this?

I have an 85 that I would like to get something like this done to it.

It's mainly built from 1/8 inch acrylic sheet cut into the shapes of the "stones" and glued together like a mosaic, over a main structure (also made from acrylic) and covered with a light coating of concrete patch, then sealed and painted, and re-sealed.

So I guess I am a little unsure what should be done with him saying that. What do you seal something like that with?

A vivarium, for Dart Frogs, and I am going to use a visible mist system. But I do not plan on it being under water or be in salt. Although the tank is pretty big and a collapsed temple look would not be out of the question, and have it be half in the water if you know what I mean. I could easily toss fish in there, little Rummys or something, but I think I will stick with a non submerged temple. Central American Style

I think this is the wrong group to advise you on what's toxic to your amphibian, although the dart frog is probably toxic enough on its own.:eek1:

Whatever you choose, consider that concrete is very alkaline. My brother did concrete work for a few years after school and always had blisters and cracks where the concrete was in contact with his skin. Maybe one of those clear resins would be a good sealer. I saw a thread in here recently where someone used a clear resin to adhere gravel substrate together. I guess if it works in salt water it would be fine here too.

The Haj is a breeder and Racer 69 has PDFs too. I think he can get great advice here. BTW, the PDF is not toxic, unless it is eating the ants that make it toxic.

You guys are all nuts. I'll stick with my nontoxic 20' crocodile.

They are pretty cool frogs. Dont know if I would keep them because I have dogs but they are beautiful animals.

Haj actually stopped breeding them recently, but Rachel and I are looking to start. Just finished building my first 10g Vivarium and will be getting my first pair on 5/12...

I think it fits in very well with this club. I know this is a reef club, but we all seem to do another areas of the hobby. I am sure there are a good number of us that do freshwater. My biggest tank is a freshwater plant tank. How many have snakes, or birds, or lizards?

We have the knowledge to keep reeftanks, and that really is one of the hardest types of tanks out there. If I had a store, I think it would be called Tanks and Cages cause there is a real need for all of these things in this town. Birds, Snakes, Lizards, Fish, Coral, flying squirrels (snicker), the list goes on, and I think we all have some info on another area. Plus I would not want to ask strangers =)

I used Great Stuff to create my structures. Once it cures, you can cut and paint it but it is messy to work with.

The expanding foam Great Stuff??

Although breeding frogs and reptiles was second nature to me and I have sold all of my frogs I can still help you out if you would like. if you are wanting just a few or wanting to produce several hundred in a month. Please feel free to pm if you would like with any question. I will be moving out of state within the next year so if there is something you are hunting for I am starting to clean out the storage area and who knows what I will find in there.
