How crazy is this Idea?

I am building a zero edge aquarium and was wondering how safe it would be to put a peacock in it? It's 24"x24"x8"

Not. They can jump. Also, that's too little water volume for a peacock. I suggest a smaller mantis -- how about a yellow Pseudosquilla ciliata?

Well I already have a N wennera and want a peacock but didn't want a really big tank. Yeah I thought they jump just wanted to make sure.

I would stick a peacock in one of those things. They had them on display at reefapalooza, very cool.

it appears that all mantis jump because my N wennerae was found on the ground next to the tank a couple night ago . If I built a zero edge it would have to have a large tray just in case my mantis jump out he would jump out into another tank.

I have 3 mantis tanks. a 10g, a 3g and a 2.5g. 1 gtern, and 2 gsmithii. All open tops and none of them have jumped. Just giving my .02
