How did he make it there?

I was looking in my refugium and found what appears to be a snail. I have no idea how he made it in there. I have never placed a snail in there. His shell is very flat like if it's new and he's very small. I have never purchased a snail this size before. I haven't added any new rocks to my tank. All the rocks in the fug was from my past tank. All rocks were scrubbed off and inspected prior of placement. I have a picture of the snail. Any ideas on how he would have ended up there? It's a very long journey from my display to the fug.

Astrea snail. Very strange, I also have 2 clams in my fuge. There might have been larvae and one got into the fuge

I have ended up with snails and fish in the sump. They take the ride down the overflow lines, some just get there faster than others.

If you have/had zoanthids it likely came in with them since all they eat are zoanthids.
