How do I get my Purple Tang out of My Tank?

I need to get my purple tang out of my tank because it's nibbling on my acans. Does anyone know a way to get him out without taking out the rock...is there something I can use to stun him or something?

You may have to be patient till the fish gets use to the trap and gets comfortable going inside. May take a few days but I have used a trap similar to this and they work well. Good luck!

I have used a similar trap, works within minutes. I do put in the trap sometimes and feed into the trap. So they get used to it even when I don't have to catch any fish.

yeah I think I am going to just start feeding my fish from this trap for now on because then all the food doesn't rot at the bottom. Is there a trap better than the link I sent or do they all work about the same
