Hello there!

First of all I must tell you, how much I admire you folks in here. I really got the feeling that you guys got control over the subject reefkeeping. Please bear with my English, I´m a 14 year old Danish boy, so there is surely some spellingmistakes :)

To the subject:

Now I have admired you folks Ricordea in here for a pretty long time, and I would appreciate to know, how you keep you´re Ricordeas so neat. Im interested in knowing you´re Calcium, Magnesium, Lighting, which species you´re holding, how big youre tanks are and of course - Loads of pictures ;)

Im looking forward to get some great answeres from you guys :)

I have mostly Florida Ricordea with a few propagated Ricordea Yumas. My Ca is around 450, my alk I try and keep 8-12dkh, my mag last time I checked it was around 1300......I have 14k MH 250w Hamiltons supplemented with 2x54w T-5 Super actinics. I have many pictures in this forum so all you have to do is look through the forum and you will see many pics by me and some of the others that keep ricordea.....Hope that helps a bit...

my tank is 75 gallons. my floridas split about once a month, yumas much longer than that. all my water chemistry is pretty much textbook, lights are a 48" 20k solaris LCD unit (which i love). filtration is provided by 2 refugiums that total 50 gallons and a euroreef skimmer. Only other thing I run is a little carbon. I feed pretty heavy. everything is rocking in this tank.
