You have to find out if the bottom is tempered. THis can be done by get two peices of polarized glass ie glasses lenses, and putting one on either side. If the glass is tempered it will show colorful patterns.

If the bottom is tempered, not all is lost, however!

You can always drill the back of the tank, the side panels are generally not tempered.

Myself and 2 others have tried the polarized lenses thing on a known piece of tempered glass with no luck. I think it's a shame. lol And with a tank that old.... I'd take a serious look at the silicone.

There is no company that mass makes them, if that's what you're asking. As I'm sure you knew, you'll have to have a custom one put together.

You probably can't buy directly through them, you need a LFS that sells Oceanic. My guess would be that All Glass makes a tank that size, as well. Start at your favorite LFS, and ask them about a 110 tall, if you really want to replace what you have now.
Speaking of which, if you know who the MFGR of your current tank is, you could email them and ask what panels on that tank are safe to drill. I found a contact at Perfecto (now Oceanic), that I'll share with you if that's who made your tank. Just send me a PM.

would there be a stamp label or something that would tell me who made the tank?

I'm pretty sure there was one when it was made. It's usually between the bottom glass, and the plastic center brace under that glass. Sometimes the name is melted into the plastic trim, usually the bottom trim.
