How do I know what SPS

So I see some great tanks just maxed out with acros. How do I know which ones can touch each other without killing of one another or am I not looking at your tanks right and their not touching . Just looks to me that its super crowded in some of the tanks I see ? I like the look and Im not at that place yet where I need to worry about it . I just was wondering so when the time comes Ill know what to do ?:bounce1:

You have to trim the corals so they dont touch. Like a coral gardener.

Sounds like your in a similar position to me. One day I will get there!! Sounds like from lifeaquatic all you have to do is ensure they don't actually touch.

Can some types touch if they are very similar types?

I know montiporos wage war if they touch even similar types, or least that is what I have been read.

Some stuff will just grow up to the next coral at the base and stop. Others will have a all out war and one will nuke the other.
