How do I mix Potassium permanganate to kill Montipora eating nudibranchs.

The article in the link below shows that Potassium permanganate will kill both adults and eggs of Montipora eating nudibranchs.

I would like to try the Potassium permanganate, but what is the best commonly available form that will allow me to easily determine dosage?

It will not be used in my reef, but in a separate tank at 50mg/l for frags to be given away or traded.

The article mentions "It is also used in dilute solutions of 10mg/ml to remove freshwater snails and eggs from freshwater planted aquariums" which leads me to believe it is sold as some commercial product in fish stores.

The easiest way would be to get access to a high-accuracy scale and measure a few liters worth of potassium permanganate. If you can find a product you'd like to buy, it might have some density information available that we could use to compute a dose. I don't know much about what's available, but apparently, it's a DEA-restricted substance now. Jungle Labs sells a product you might consider, apparently.

I have seen the Jungle Labs "Oxy Clar" product but it does not seem to be in a form that would enable me to easily compute and measure for a dosage. It is described as "with the power of potassium permanganate" which leads me to believe there may be other things in it. Besides, I have no way to get access to a high accuracy scale for such tiny weighs.

The Jungle product Clear Water's active ingredient is potassium permanganate. I have used it to treat snails on FW plants but have never tried it for nudis

I can't see any data on the potassium manganate content per pill. You might be able to contact them and get some data that way. There's another thread in the forum that discusses the density of potassium permanganate, so if you could find a pure source, we likely could help.
