How do I scrape off zoanthids?

I have a rock with zoanthids that I don't like. I'd like to scrape them off somehow and clean off the rock for some zoanthids that I am buying.

I know I should wear eye and hand protection, but can someone recommend a way to get rid of these zoanthids? If I scrape them off, will any toxins be released into the water when I put the rock back in?

take out the rock from the tank... you can gently chip them off.. chip the rock underneath them.

yeah i use a butter knife to chip them off...toxin will be released of you squish them and they ooze

zoos aren't as bad Palytoas and grandis's are worse..

worst hit I got was headaches and body ache's.. kinda felt like a flu for a couple of hours..
