I have a single center overflow with 2 1" drains. I built and installed durso stand pipes on the drains. Every 5-10 seconds I get a larger rush of water through the drains, sometimes alternating between the 2, sometimes at the same time. I guess I never noticed before because the drains used to run into a common sump area, but I seperated the 2 tanks and am now using a new sump and the rush of water is causing some issues (not to mention a little noise).
How can I stop this flushing effect? I tried to make the holes in the durso larger, but that did not do it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
