How do I wire Lumen brite?

I received my new lumenbrite mini se reflector today but had a question on the wiring. My lamp cord has a black, white and green wire, so does my mogul socket. I assume the 2 blacks go together and so do the white, but the green ones both have eyelets on them, do they just go together too or do they attach somewhere?

Not sure what ballast you are using but if there is already a plug to plug in the wall then I would say you got it right the green is the ground and you can cut that connection off and wire it to the green on the ballast if there is one i doubt that its going to be a bare copper wire like electrical wiring. Come to think of it I think when I wire up a lumenarc that I had laying around there was no ground coming off my ice cap ballast. I would figure it must be the same for the ice cap ballast that I using on my display tank with the lumenbrights

The ballast is a blue wave 1, not sure what you mean by plug to plug in the wall? Here is a pic. Also, is the eyebolt in the second pic supposed to be to hang it, b/c the hole in the top if the reflector is only about 1/2 the diameter of the eyebolt.

i believe you need to also order the pair of wires with the appropriate plugs for your ballast. i know with my lumenmax's i was able to order the proper terminations for my ballast and all i had to do was plug them directly into my ballast. i have a pair of wires/plugs that work for a bluewave 7 ballast, you're willing to have them if you pay for the shipping. otherwise call your supplier and ask them what you need so you can actually hook your lumenbrights to your ballast.

I think i might not be explaining myself correctly, the plug i have is a sunlight supply cord, it plugs directly into my ballast, the wires in the pic are of the other end of that cord and the socket that came with the LB reflector.

Take those connectors off the green and wire green to green
black to black and white to white and plug the ballast in and the light will turn on you dont need those connectors

The black hook thing is to hang the reflector there should be a hole on the top of the reflector where that hook thing goes through. If I remember correctlty you may have to drill it a hair bigger if it doesnt fit that is what I think that I did to mine

Don't forget to cut the wire down. A max of 9' to 10' is ideal. I suggest making a short whip (12" or so) off the reflector and leave the ballast wire as-is.

Is this a must? I need all the cord i can get b/c the ballasts aren't in the room with the tank.

Also, I installed the eyebolt, but the reflector doen't hang level b/c of the weight if the socket, how in the heck am i suppose to level it with only 1 eyebolt?

Not a must but the extra wire does put a strain on the ballast so your output might not be as optimal. You can get another eye bolt from a hardware store and mount it on the socket bracket or you can level it out by hanging the wire cord.

Thanks, I appreciate the help.

You can go green to green, but in some cases the ground attaches directly to the case of the balllast. That is the purpose for the ring terminals. Both electronic ballasts I have used are wired this way.
