Just look it up and I would have to agree. The rock anemone has a neon green color sometimes. I have been doing my best to feed them frozen mysis shrimp.
Would silversides daily help with the bleached problem?
i would say give them as much light as possible and feed every other day... im not sure about the rock flowers, but the condys are troopers, the one i have came back from looking somewhat like that in about 2 weeks! good luck
you should stick to a more realistic cycle, i suggest getting timers! get the actinics on an hour before the main lights, then the main lights for 10 hours, then just the actinics for an hour then the moonlights for the rest of the night.... what kind of light do you have?
Also do some research about using silversides there are many posts on here about people losing there nems shortly after feeding them. Better choices are fresh uncooked shrimp, baby scallops and mysis. Also if I remember correctly rock flowers are one of the very few nems that can actually have a white pigment and not be bleached. Here is a link with some examples. It's hard to tell in Greg31's pictures but the lines that extend out toward the edge of the disk will turn a darker color.
well, at least theyre t5s, lol... i recommend aquatraders.com, theyre cheap and they have really nice fixtures...another thing, i feed my anemones thawed krill, thats what was recommended by my local fish store, plus, some of my lps corals like it too (fungia, open brain, duncan)
