How do Sarcophyton and Discosoma get along?

I Have a large Sarcophyton elegans (Fiji/Tonga yellow leather) and I was considering moving it across my tank to a large rock that's about half covered in mushrooms. Does anyone know how this will effect the corals (mainly the Sarco)? Can they coexsist peacefully while touching?
TIA, Chris

Ive got about well over 50 zoa polyps around the base of my sarco. They are touching and both seem to be fine.

had some fast growing green discosomas around my devil's hand (lobophytum) and they did fine together. As the shrooms reached the pagoda cup the shrooms won that battle until I trimmed them back...HTH

I've never really had problems with mushrooms bothering a number of things other than the shade out factor. If the Sarco is big enough, I would think you'd be able to do it.

I've got the large hariy mushroom (like the ones Angela has-Rhodactis sp., I think?) under the big colony of green nephthea and there have been no issues. I've also had my gold crown sarcos cohabitating with Discosoma sp. with no issues.
