how do u guys mount your seio's?

I have tried all the mods and by far have had the best luck by just gluing the swivel bracket to a mag float. I used a two part plastic epoxy from Lowes. This way you can position the Seio anywhere you like.

I did a modification to the brackets... (I found it on here somewhere) so that you can hang it like a tunze when you remove the cover.

get the magnet holder from marinedepot... easiest setup every. i made a mess of myself trying to get the tunze brackets to work, but it took about 2 seconds to put the magnets on.

I use the algae free magnet holder. I really like it allot and it lets me mount my seios much lower in the tank. The only downside is that the two magnet halves stick together then you basically slide the powerhead w/ adapter bracket on to the inside magnet. This "slide on" has no locking mechanism, nor is it a snug fit, it just sits on the magnet block using gravity. Although this allows for easy removal and maintenance it does not allow for upside down or sideways mounting which I had hoped for.

Other than that they grip well and can be used with tunze, seio or maxijet so it gives me allot of flexability. Also, no ugly brackets hanging down into the tank.

I made a bracket out of some scrap acrilyc. It didnt need to be so thick but that was what I had.

i use the suction cups.. i have to set it pretty low or it'll suck in the air from the surface..

Do what tigerarmy did. You can point the seio up and it will break the surface tension.
