How do You Acclimate new Corals

Friday I'm expecting my first shipment of corals including sps, cloves, and zoas :D . I'm going to the LFS tommorrow to get some more water, some chemipure and kent lugol's solution (iodine) to dip the corals in. I'm wanting to know how different people acclimate their new corals and if I should dip before or after acclimating corals to my tank. All input is appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Im not hip on iodine dips. This would be a last resort with a known problem.
A fresh water or high salinity dip with some QT time .

Most of my corals come from fellow reefers, or from known sources, so I don't dip.

I do like I do with fish. Float for 10-30 minutes ( depending on the temp difference ) then drip acclimate for about 30-45 minutes.

For the first couple of days I leave them on the sandbed, and then move to the spot I want them to be. (( short time for light acclimation, but I know the lights there were under ))
