How do you catch clowns?

I have a 5 small clowns got in to my 135gallon sump. I dont know how to catch them. I have rocks and pumps in my sump.Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

feed them with a net. after awhile you can't get them out of the net. Never chase them with a net.

Ocellaris are not that smart. I just put a rectangular container in and slowly round them up into the container with my hand.

Another way is to wait until they are asleep at night and scoop them up with a flash light and net.

there is also a sticky that has good suggestions near the top of this forum.

My clowns will let me scoop them up in my hands. Less stress than using a net.

Same here.
Well not with the new ones or the ones in the breeding tanks.

The other when I feed them .. first I get them eating out of my fingers then I begin to place my hand under them. after a few months I can scoop them in and out no problem.

I find it very easy to catch them at night time when lights are out and they are sleeping. I have done this many times over years.
