How do you catch shrimp?

How do you best catch shrimp in a tank? I've got 3 that are bothering my Nem and I want them gone. I tried to put some Krill in a net but I couldn't get them to climb into the net =(

Try using a piece of garden hose. Start the suction ciphering through the hose. Bend off the end part of the hose going into a bucket stopping the water. Then the other end that is still in the tank, slowly try and get it as close as you can to the shrimp. When you’re close enough, release the bent part of the hose going into the bucket. The release of the water will start a suction ciphered effect which should suck the shrimp right in the hose down to the bucket of water. If a garden hose is too small. Home Depot sells larger hosing. I got this from a previous posted thread, when I was trying to catch my camel back shrimp. It kept eating my yellow polyps.
If you fail the first time keep trying. I eventually caught my shrimp after maybe 3 or 4 attempts. Good luck

Did you buy a new hose for this or use an existing? Did you cut the end off the hose?

I used a large plastic pasta strainer. Hand feed the shrimps so they get used to you. Place the strainer under the shrimp as you feed them. Quickly pull up and out (keeping in mind they shoot backwards when scared).

HD sells clear plastic tubing, which IMO, prevents such events as SSI(spitting saltwater incidents), SSS(swallowing saltwater syndrome), and SWGR(saltwater gag reflex), because you can see the water begin to pull through before it gets to the end. That is unless you like the taste of saltwater mixed with the uncanny nuttiness donated by you tank inhabitants into the water.

I used a piece of old hose that had holes in it. Yes I cut the end off. Didn't want that little metal tip hit the glass by accident. It's about a 3 1/2 feet long. I actually use the same piece for my water changes. Yeah clear hose will prevent those accidets. I guess I'm just use to doing it with the hose, so I know when to pull the hose away before i get a mouth full of SW.
