How do you check for PO4

What test do you use to check your phosphates? How to make sure your PO4 does not go too low?:headwalls:

Just get a test kit for phosphates, read reviews some are more accurate and easier to read than others. Phosphate levels should be at 0 or VERY close to it.

Hanna ULR. I only test about once a month.

I use the Hanna ULR which measures phosphorus and with a simple calculation gives a reading for phosphate. If you keep coral you want some phosphate. I keep mine between .02-.06.

I use the Hanna ULR. Make sure the cuvette is very clean because it's easy to get a false reading. Otherwise, it's very simple to use.

Hanna here as well, I only test when I see any algae popping up which isn't often.
