How do you frag clove polyps?

I'm looking into fragging my clove polyps. When they retract, they turn into a chubby bulb. Should I just slice from the bottom and glue to a rock? Rubber band to rock? Here's a pic of the colony.

I try and get a good grip and slice a little bit of the rock below it. Do it or a few cloves and re glue.

A little dab of glue works well.

Snips work well too as most of the rock is pretty soft anyway.
