Bought this holly stunner chalice months ago growing like crazy and every night it freakin scares me.... -___-

sending out sweepers that are at least 3-4" in length reaching almost anything nearby.. I had to frag them and eventually taken down from my rock to avoid killing my other sps corals.

Today I saw a guys tank with the same coral growing out right next to other sps. I was like da heck. How come?!!

For me I have to put 80% of my chalice that is in my sps tank very low and sometimes in shadowed areas or else I get horrible bleaching. No sps anywhere close to these spots for me your piece must really like some hight light I'm assuming it's getting lots.

Yes mine likes high flow and high light. Right now I placed them in the bottom of the tank and it is kinda losing its color. Guess it got so used to the high intensity. Now i am hoping it doesn't kill my favias now lol.. one after another...

I keep mine spread apart on the sandbed away from everything they can sting
yeah those sweepers are long

hollywood stunner has much longer sweepers than alot of Chalices I have had. Many only have short ones.

I stay away from the hollywood because of it.

Yea my other chalices or favias when they send out sweepers, its less than an inch or two.
oh well at least i know it likes my tank =)
