How do you keep your large aquariums clean... Anyone have a tall aquarium 5'h or more

I am in the process of deciding on what size and shape custom aquarium to build in wall. I have smaller aquariums now in which I clean the sand and scrap the glass etc. How do you guys do such things for these large aquariums. I was thinking of doing a tall in wall aquarium but my issue there are: being able to access the tank to cleanit, arrange corals etc.

Are these large systems able to keep themselves clean or do the same rules apply as with smaller tanks? Any one that has a tall tank, I'm talking between 4-5'... what are your thoughts. Is it a pain to take care of, add corals etc?

Dang, you could go ahead and get you a scuba tank and get in the thing to aquascape it, and clean it.

I have a 40 inch tall tank and the main problem is handling and placing rocks, corals, etc you need some tools (long tweezers) and a lot of patience

for cleaning you con manage...

Tanks are a pain once you get over 24" IMOP. I currently have a 30" tall tank and have worked on 36"-48" and the main issues that I run across are larger eurobracing on big tanks that seriously shorten your reach, being able to scrape coralline algae that grows on the lower parts of the sides, placing corals and aquascaping. There is no easy way to really do the last one even with tongs. I would recommend building so sort of system that allows you to easily climb on top of the tank so you can work from above instead of from the sides. This will allow you to have full use of your arms and let you access all areas of the tank efficiently.
