How do you make an overflow stop flushing?

My tank is a bit off level and one s of the overflows is working harder than the other that is for sure. But no matter what I do....the side that is working the hardest will flush every minute or so. Anyone know how to solve this? i am using pvc ridged plumbing....Think I am traping an airbubble in there....would swaping over to flex for my drain work better?

Stick an airline tube down the noisy one. It will let the air out. Works for sure.

Or if you allready have an air hole drill it out a little bigger.

Try something like the Durso overflow silencer...

If you add a large hole with a valve to the top, you can balance the air draw so that it doesn't flush. Personally, I used something like the Stockman overflow (I have an external box), but just drilled a bunch of holes and used tape to cover enough for balance. But I am cheap...
