How do you prepare your fish food?

In the last few months, the number of frozen foods that I'm feeding has grown to 7 different types (brine, mysis, tubifex worms, bloodworms, cyclopeeze, and two types of algae). Additionally, I've started soaking food in garlic in order to get some picky eaters to show some interest.

Cutting off a little piece of each type of food and soaking it in garlic is becoming pretty time consuming, especially in the morning when I'm trying to get out the door for work. I'm sure some of you have some great ideas for making this easier. I've heard people make references to "mixing up a batch of mush" and stuff like that before but I would like more details.

How do you mix your food? How much do you mix up at a time? How do you package it to keep it fresh and make it easier to feed? Do you freeze it or store it in the fridge? Anything else?

I'm sure someone has discussed this before but I can't find a good answer. If there is a thread that answers this question though, please link it!

This is copied from a post I made in Zoa forum. Just modify it a bit by adding the nori/alga and maybe a bit of the mysis shrimp or whatever.

I see no reason to spend a lot of money on food when you can make it better yourself.

Hers my total recipe.

12 oz package of fresh/frozen seafood. It contains octupi, squid, shrimp, clams and whitefish.
1 clove of fresh garlic.
A handful of fresh garbonzo (chick peas) for greens. You could use suhi nori instead.

Blend it into a very fine mush. No peices bigger than about a number two pencil lead.
Divide it into zip lock freezer bags and lay them flat in the freezer.

Now for larger fish just dont puree it, blend till its still "chunky"
Make two bags of "chuncky" and the rest fine or whatever.

I also add a small pinch of omega one protein flakes and fresh nori every other feeding and feed every other day.

Oh ya just break off a small chunk, thaw it in a bit of tank water and throw it in.

You can also look around and find those really tiny ice cube trays for making kid pops and freeze it as cubes.

I drop my mush into little plops on a cookie sheet, then freeze it and once frozen, put it in a freezer bag and keep it in the freezer - I usually get ~5 month supply. I also add cyclopeeze, selcon, zoe, and whatever seafood is on sale that week - sometimes scallops, mussels, clams, etc. I also add fresh minced garlic that Omni2226 mentioned. My fish and corals love it.
