How do you siphon your sump?

Being as a sump is usually at floor level, I can't pull a siphon on it like I do with the tank. So, how do you siphon the sump?

One way is with a waterbed draining kit and a hose. Very cheap and no messes.

get a cheap/small pump/powerhead and pump the water out.

Ahh yes, why didn't I think of that! I needed an excuse to get a bigger one anyway. Now I can justify it to the wife...ha

I run a garden hose down the driveway.

With a hose that is connected to a 4" piece of pvc pilpe with holes cut out that has a micron filter sock attached to placed in the sump. I can clean all day and the water just recycles.
