Setting up moon lights,

I bought 2 (tri led lights) from autolumination.com

Ive been following instructions from this thread-
http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=432050

Sounds easy enough,
- Get a 12V AC/DC Power supply (check)
- Solder wires together in parallel (I can solder but dont know how to in parallel)
- Heat shrink around wires (easy enough)
- Heat shrink around both wires (easy enough)

I've done some very basic soldering for a school project and still have the soldering iron ect. but I dont know how to solder in parallel. I know what parallel means and why its used I just dont know how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, so wiring them in a series means I would wire one moonlight to the next moon light and then that moonlight to the 12V supply, right?

And for parallel wiring I just solder both of the wires to the one 12V Supply.

I would not connect them in series unless you want them to be dim. In series there will only be 6 volts for each diode.

You will want to wire the leds in parallel. So each led will be wired to the power supply.

Thanks,

Scott
