How does everyone battle humidity with large tank?

Just wondering, my big tank is located in our finished basement and it just seems to be getting a bit humid in there. I have central air and a humidifyer connected to it. Doesn't seem to help, just wondering how everyone battle this problem?

Thanks,
Chris

I have 3000 watts of metal halide, 900 watts of VHO bulbs and about 1200 watts of pumps, along with 1150+ gallons of saltwater. I keep a 1-ton Mitsubishi split AC unit running in the equipment room 24/7 and my humidity is very, very low.

The biggest LG dehumidifier that HD sold... so far I have collected about 80 gallons of water in 3 weeks out of my basement...

I use a portable A/C unit that can also Dehumidify(if thats a word :) heat and cool all in one. The unit can be exhausted out a window or some there way out of the house. But it cost me like $300 and I do not have any humidity issues what so ever, on a 450 gallon display with 125 gallon sump. It has 3 fan speeds and will cool the tank even more than i would like some times. By the way, I have 400 watt Metal Halides over the tank with many pumps, and this eliminated the need for any chiller for me. And the A/C takes care of any humidity anyway. So great deal all around!

I guess opening up the ac vents in the basement is something I will have to do. Didn't think I would need because of my basement always being so cool.
