How does site work?

Okay I was wondering how PM and everything like that works, I know how to post and reply and all that good stuff, but when I send a PM to someone online, how do I know if I get a response? Happy Reefing

Thank you mam', I figured out about the message when I did like you said, I had also put my Alabama thread link in there thankfully, this site can be like hop-scotch, I look forward to meeting new people interested in the hobby (life) I also enjoy.
