how fast do AEFW move

I think I saw two on my monti.... but it moved so fast. I think its not a AEFW because its under my monti firstly ( however, they could have just been hiding there) and because it moved so fast. I think they were baby cowries. The "criminals in question" moved like an inch within at most 2 seconds

I would say they can go about 2" a minute if they want to. I have seen them do this i the bottom of a white bucket.

Mostly I have seen them move very slowly but recently I have seen them move as fast as a snail.

Ok I guess swim wouldn't be the best statement here.More of a wiggle motion, threw the water.Just trying to say, they just don't sink here. They can move their bodies threw the water.

seems clear that what Carpus has is not AEFW. Moved an Inch in 2 seconds.
When you get to looking at corals it's amazing the bugs that you find on them. I too had little very fast moving things on my SPS, not like a lot of the pics shown recently. So I'm sure it's not the dreaded AEFW.
