How fast Haddonie can grow

I have kept em in past and have always purchased fully grown specimen because of my larger system . Now in the market for a smaller specimen and real state is sort of an issue ... any idea how fast and what's the growth rate on these while they are small close to 5 or 6 "

I picked mine up when it was between 6-8"... about 4 years ago.

When he is happy and fully expanded in the light, he can get as large as 10". But during normal conditions, he about 8".

I feed mine directly maybe once a year. A piece of shrimp usually. I think feeding nem's is unnecessary. I also have a BTA that I've kept for 3 years now and I never once fed him. They are both doing great. Light is their food.

Sometimes the haddoni gets a snail or crab that wanders around. Sometimes they get fish food that floats from the water column.

They grow very fast if you feed them otherwise not fast at all, unless they nap some of your fish
