How hard to pair up coral beauty angels?

I know you have to introduce a smaller one to a big one and the big one will become male. Do they fight at first or do they pair up fairly quickly? Anyone have success doing this?

I found it super easy. If you find a male and female they may start spawning within a month.

That's good to hear. I have one in QT right now. Haven't added it to my tank yet, but it's such a pretty fish and I've been kicking around the idea of pairing it up. I originally wanted to put a flame angel in there with it, but thought my chances of having two angels might be better if I pair it up instead.

Best to add new angel in an acclimation box for a few days before releasing into tank

This...

...and I have also found that having the smaller females (or females) in the tank first and then adding the larger male was less stressful to all involved, at least with the C. argi I was keeping.

Pairing Centropyge angels is pretty easy. Just get a really tiny one with a larger one, and you will be good.

Yep, females first...

Bigger male or bigger female? Size is not necessarily an indicator of sex.
Just keep it in QT or another suitable holding tank and get the second as soon as possible.

Females have usually a more roundish body profile, while males of equal height appear more "stretched".
If I would want to get a pair, I would preferably get two from the same shipment. That way it is easiest to compare them. At a minimum I would get them from collection location.

This might be slightly off topic, but I recently was able to pair up angels in my 57 gallon tank. I have a flame paired up with a larger male potter's angel and both get along very well.
