How important is Alk/Calc to anemone tank

Quick question.

I have a 100gal that I'm slowly taking down. Took out all the corals already. I only have a gig, a few BTA, and a haddoni inside. The new tank is not ready for anemone yet..

I want to stop dosing for this tank and rely on monthly water changes. Will this be ok for the nems? do they even need these elements?

reason is I want to use the doser for the new tank.

thanks

I don't think those are of primary concern for anemones.
Also as long as there are no corals or excessive coralline, it shouldn't drop too fast.

The gigs in my 10g QTs don't get dosed and do OK. Their main issue are rather excess nutrients.

I don't think it is important for the growth of the anemone, however Alkalinity can be important in pH stability of the tank. I know that Kalk overdose is really bad for Magnifica and Gigantea. I think this is due to the pH swing.
I had an episode in the past when my timer mal-function and dosed to much Kalk quickly. This really stressed my anemone because I did not catch it for 2 days. I set it up to dose 15 mins every 2 hrs, but it got stuck on continuous. My skimmer with automatic drain keep the water level from go high. My anemone start to look bad. I trouble shoot the system and found the cause. After I correct the problem, the anemone was sick for another month or so before completely recovered.
