How large does a typical bimac get?

All of the research I've seen indicates a bimac will grow to approximately 545 grams. How large is this? Most people keep them in a minimum of 30 gallons, so I would imagine this isn't too large.

I also read that a vulgaris will grow to 2417 grams. I'm thinking of getting a vulgaris for my next octo, just so I can see more of it. How large is this in comparison to a 30 gallon tank, or even a 55 gallon tank?

According to Normans book...

vulgairs mantle 20 - 25cm and arms at 60 - 100 cm
bimac mantle at 12cm and arms to 35 cm

so a vulgaris gets much bigger!

I think for a vulgaris you should be looking at a 200 gallon tank
