How long after sealing a piece of glass in a sump can you put water into it and start running your tank through using that sump? The sealant tube says it shoudl be completely dry in 24 hours, although I can still smell that nasty new sealant smell on it.

I would wait one more day. You should be fine after that.

thanks, i was thinking about it and more than likely the smell would be there for a while anyway, just being paranoid I guess.
