How Long Before I let them meet again?

I just got another Tom Clown to pair with my existing Tom. I put them in together and it seemed like they were just feeling eachother out at first. But that turned into the original one chasing the smaller one all over the tank. I put the larger one in a acclimation box and I'm trying to see how long before I can let it back out and it not kill my new guy. Attached is a Video of when I first put him in there before she started to chase him all over.

did you notice at 20sec 30 sec and 55sec that the female was twitching? she is looking for him to copy her in showing her his submission. untill he gets chased and beat up a little he doesnt know he needs to submit. unless she is ripping his find off, let him get beat up so he knows his role.

Didn't look that bad to me.
I personally never throw a male clown in and let them go for it, because the female can easilly kill the small male, I always use a container and float it a COUPLE DAYS while watching females reaction before releasing the male.
You could still do that I guess, but unless there is excessive fin tearing I would let them work it out.

Well I put the female in segregation for a hour so the male could find a hiding spot or two before I put her back. She chased him around for a little while but when the lights went out they stayed right near eachother and they seem fine now. Not right next to eachother but within a foot of eachother. At least she's not whooping on him. He made it through with only one nip out of his tailfin.

In bad situations I've witnessed an angry female kill a small male w/in minutes, so it's usually a very obvious "I better grab a net fast" situation unless the male finds a hiding space too small for her to enter.
I'm sure yours will work out if she is even tollerating the male.

This looks like typical clown behavior to me. It doesn't look like she's all out to kill him. I would put her back in and let them sort it out. She is just establishing who is boss. Keeping her out too long and you run the risk of the male turning female.

i got a very vicious and large female fire clown, which are considered the most aggressive clowns. the previous owner went thru 3 males cause she killed them all. i have a male with her in a 20t tank and she hasnt killed him yet, but she doesnt let him come to close to the pot. but at night she lets him over behind or on top while she is inside. hopefully soon she will let him reside in the pot.

just keep your eye on yours. they wont get along till he submits or he becomes a male. i can swap males out with my females and they dont mind, but if i add a juvi thee females get a little aggressive.

Day 2 they seem to be settling in. Also don't know whats going on with around 2:10. Something is squirting out of the rock and it did it on and off for about a minute. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the advice.
