Im sirry im a little confused, are you going to only QT new corals in it?
I would recommend a bare bottom tank w/ nothing in it at all as a QT.
You dont want anything in a quarentine tank, by definition. You just want a bare tank running, with HOB filters cycled for when you need it. When not using the QT, you can hang the HOB filter on your display or sump ect, to keep it cycled. The idea behind QT tank is so that you can watch anew fish for signs of disease before adding to your display, and if necessary you can treat a sick fish with hyposalinity, copper, green malachite, all of which are deadly to coral.
